Resident’s Rights
On September 11, 2023, Governor Carney signed Senate Bill (SB) 152 into law. This Act required the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) to prepare a standardized notice listing all rights detailed in 16 DE Code §1121 in a language and format that is accessible to each resident or their authorized representative. In addition, long term care facilities must post and distribute the revised notice. The link to SB 152 is: Bill Detail – Delaware General Assembly
